As a non-resident, 80% can currently be raised from the banks, although in some instances this can be higher depending on the bank and agreement made by the developer.

 

The only way to secure a mortgage in Spain is against the property; therefore no mortgage can be secured when buying off-plan until completion. You can, however, apply beforehand and have the mortgage approved in writing, in which case a survey will be carried out 1 month before completion.
